“Absent of sharp angles and colored materials, it eliminates printing and visibility through all my business clothing and delivers an entirely better comfort experience than the hard ones I’m used to."

Weapon Compatibility

Sub-Compacts

LayerOne is a pseudo one-size-fits-all concealed carry holster for sub-compact semiautomatic pistols that accommodates most pistols in this class.   If your pistol is not listed below, but its dimensions fall within the min/max dimensions in the diagram to the right, your pistol will fit well in LayerOne.

Pistols Known to Fit

Bersa 380 CC

Glock G43 Subcompact

Kel Tec P11

Kimber Micro .9 CDP

Remington RM .380

Sig P365

Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9

Walther PPK

Springfield Hellcat 3 Micro

Red Dot Sights

LayerOne accommodate most red dot sights that are mounted on the rearmost portion of the slide that extend no further than 1.9" from the top of the rear edge of the pistol's slide, forward.

Laser Sights Mounted Beneath Muzzle

LayerOne also accommodates pistols with laser sights that do not exceed the overall max allowable width or  length of the pistol shown in the pistol diagram to the right.

the problem is easy to see

Ever been called out for carrying a concealed pistol?

Why do concealed carry holsters print so obviously through work attire?  Thin, lightly-colored fitted shirts and blouses weren't made to conceal rigid material, square edges and solid colors.  And wearing a jacket is not always desirable or practical.

But printing is serious and consistently ranks in the top 3 problems that discourage lawful concealed carry at the office.

Carry your pistol confidently concealed with LayerOne.  Its flexible, soft and transparent material naturally conform to the curves of our body.  And LayerOne's organic surfaces and absence of square edges drastically reduce printing and detection.

Freedom to ditch the jacket?  Delivered.

LayerOne

No more printing from hard edges or straight lines

Mimics the body's rounded surfaces

Best of all, no jacket required to conceal your pistol

Why an underarm holster?

Configure it as an IWB, appendix carry, thigh, or underarm.

Underarm (a.k.a. shoulder) rigs are generally regarded as the most comfortable for long-duration wear

They're a great option when driving or sitting for extended periods & conceal the pistol bump between the torso and arm

Underarm rigs worn under a shirt make it difficult for anyone other than the wearer to access the pistol

Founder's Story

Like many, I have sadly lost innocent friends to a live shooter.

In the Spring of 2020, I separated from a 25-year career in another field to focus on increasing the odds that armed help is present by designing and developing a safe, comfortable solution that doesn’t print.  I am a self-funded, grassroots 'company of one' that created LayerOne during an arduous and expensive 3-year journey.

I’ve carried concealed pistols for 17 years. Most of that time was during work in corporate America where business attire is obviously required. Most of those who carry while wearing this clothing are familiar with the daily detectability, comfort, and safety challenges.

Necessity drove imagination and I spent two and a half years researching, drawing, and prototyping ideas. My interest in protecting innocent life evolved into a passion as my refinements to the prototypes began to deliver positive results. It was the most profound experience of my life; the intensity of how passion feels and what it enables made me realize that my other ‘passions’ aren't more than super fun activities.

I hope my passion is evident in the quality of the products that I develop for you and me.

LayerOne® reduces or eliminates challenges with certain clothing, environments, and applications and it ought to improve the odds that armed help will be around.

Thank you for supporting our Second Amendment, for carrying and training, and most of all thank you for your courage and bravery to protect.
